About Us
Teachers Who Care is a partnership of state-certified teachers and behavior specialists who have mastered their craft and developed a research-based behavioral framework. Our framework, Pause-Disconnect-Reflect-Proceed (PDRP), gives practitioners the necessary strategies to maintain instructional and environmental control even when challenging and disruptive behaviors occur. Whether in the classroom, during camping programs, youth sports, group homes, juvenile facilities, or the workplace, our research-based framework is backed by science and evident in the experience of our consultants.
Every Teachers Who Care consultant has over 15 years of successful experience teaching and managing instructional environments
with youth who experience ADD, ADHD, ODD, Emotional Impairments, Autism, and PTSD. Our proven framework equips professionals with tools that work when the goal is managing challenging behaviors and maintaining instructional/environmental control.
